Thanks to Allah SWT we finally managed to complete our first album which was entitled ‘Homeless’. Thanks also to family, relatives, friends who have helped in the process of completing this album. Thanks also to Bang Nabil from Playrecord Jakarta who also helped us work on our songs, to Tama from the band Shine who also helped us work on our official music video. Today 12 September 2020 our album is officially released on our label Musicoloid.
This album contains 10 songs and 1 Intro, namely: Homeless, A Broken Dream, Imprisoned, Waiting, Kids, Introverts, Friendship and Time, Old Radio, Luka Honor, Black Promise. Where the concept of our album, ‘there are several songs’, has a continuous story concept from one song to the next and there is one song that we have made the official music video, namely Friendship and Time.
1. Homeless.
Song / Lyric: Bob, Composer: TKC
This song tells the story of a child who describes himself as homeless. Not in the sense of homelessness, but the story of broken home children who do not find harmony in their internal environment. Then he decided to leave the house and try to find peace for a moment on the streets. “Have you heard about the story of my life” and “A lot of thorns were stuck in my chest” are the character’s affirmations about how they feel.
2. A Broken Dream.
Song / Lyric: Bob, Composer: TKC
After leaving home and spending night after night on the streets. Then he began to feel real loneliness. No one accompanies him and gives strength to go through all the problems of his life. The lyrics “but nothing lasts forever” is a bit of his hope that he believes in this world nothing is eternal. After a night there will be morning, after dark, there will be light.
3. Imprisoned
Song / Lyric: Bob, Composer: TKC
Inside the loneliness and solitude after leaving home. Instantly he remembered and missed the woman who had been a part of his life. The woman who always accompanied him and gave him strength, made him get up when he fell. Because of his mistake, the woman has left him.
4. Waiting (Feat Vio)
Song: Wacuy / Lyric: Bob, Composer: TKC
Still a continuation of the previous story. This song contains hope, waiting for someone who will be able to give him the strength to go through the situation he is in. “Give me something that can make me strong”, “Make me believe, there’s heaven await” and convinced her that there will be beauty after all these difficult circumstances.
5. Kids
Song / Lyric: Bob, Composer: TKC
From the title, maybe we can conclude what this song means and for whom it is intended. Yes, we believe that the laughter and tears of children can quell anger and hatred in this world.
6. Introvert
Song / Lyric: Bob, Composer: TKC
Tells the story of someone who tries to escape the hustle and bustle of the world, away from the crowd. There is nothing wrong with being this phlegmatic person. Everyone has their own way to regrow their enthusiasm. Some need a crowd, a party and a party. There are also those who need some time alone.
7. Persahabatan dan Waktu
Song / Lyric Time: Bob, Composer: TKC
A song about a friendship story that begins to fade from time today. The togetherness that used to be spent almost every night together, sharing laughter and jokes. One by one they leave for their new life and now there are only unforgettable stories and memories.
8. Radio Tua
Song / Lyric: Bob, Composer: TKC
About the author’s longing and nostalgia for the beauty of the era before digitization. Radio is a medium that we often touch to just listen to songs and sing together. Slowly it began to fade and be forgotten.
9. Luka Penghormatan
Song / Lyric Tribute: Wacuy, Composer: Bob, Beler
About an expression of the author’s anger aimed at a traitor friend. Friends who are considered as friends, we know well, but in the end, he is the one who tries to bring us down. “Grieving the death of a friend” is sarcasm that death here is not about going to the afterlife but is an expression of the author’s anger and considers his friend to be dead.
10. Black Promise
Song / Lyric: Bob. Composer: Bob, Beler
Black Promise here is not about black magic but falsehood, the falsity of the sweet promises of the rulers to the people. Also about disgust to see the drama of life, social media imagery, propaganda. Humans seem to be wearing masks playing the role of mime. “They can only be silent, smile, and dance in pain”.
