SINGING HEART was formed on January 14, 2010 in Depok. It started with Bob planning to create a band that embraces the Melodic genre, and he invited Tegar to fill the position as the drummer, Ugi as the vocalist, and Adit on bass.

Basically, our hobby is playing music and also to eliminate the boredom of our routine as students at that time. We agreed to form a band that we named ‘SINGING HEART’. The meaning of the name Singing Heart itself is ‘Singing Heart’, which signifies that the music we play truly comes from the heart.

In 2011, Ugi and Adit decided to leave the band due to other activities outside of music. Then Bob invited Tama as the guitarist and Miko in the bass position to replace Ugi and Adit.

In that lineup, Bob, Tegar, Tama, Miko, the band lasted for approximately 4 years and had released an album titled ‘Jangan Bersedih Kawan’ with the hit single ‘Peri Kecil’. By the end of 2014, we decided to take a break or go on hiatus due to each member’s busy schedules.

During the approximately 8-year hiatus of the band, until early February 2023, Bob planned to revive Singing Heart. Then he invited Oka to fill the drum position and Aji as the bassist. In the current lineup, we have successfully released a new single titled ‘Pecundang dan Song For Father’.
